That's just what we did....we loaded up the Mazda with the family and headed to Chicago for one of the final home games for the Cubbies. It was a rather cold day, but that did not lower the spirit that was circling the ball park. Saffron had a wonderful time, and said "Go Cubs", to cheer them on to a victory. Daddy was teaching her the different calls of the game.....out, ball, strike, and a few others..."Awe Man", etc. I did not take as many pictures as I would have like to, but I did manage to take one good one earlier on even before the players took the field. Needless to say we did HAVE to leave the game early.....the cardinal sin of Wrigley Field.....the bleacher section doing the wave, it was a very sad site to see, and for some strange reason, it managed to go several times around despite the booing crowd......although the Cubs are out of the running, as us Cubs fans would say....."There's always next year!!!"
